Good morning! I pray everyone is well. What a joy it is to be able to worship our amazing God today!
We all know the best news
in the world is the gospel news. It is
the news that Christ came to earth – that God gave His Only Son – to die on the
cross and conquer sin and death for us – for me and you – and every soul who
has ever lived – rose from death and is now reigning in heaven!!
Christ, the Son of God,
lives. We can come to Him freely – obey His
will and have the hope of heaven!! It is
our choice. It is always our choice.
The best news out of
Maywood Christian Camp during the week of 6/20 through 6/26 is that five precious
souls realized the value Jesus placed on their souls by dying for them. They came openly and willingly to be baptized
for the remission of their sins. Angels
in heaven rejoiced five times this week – over souls saved at Maywood Christian
Camp.
It is my prayer the
angels rejoiced over many other souls in many other places over the world. The gospel is the best news and souls are the
most priceless of all on this planet!
I am so thankful for the God’s
word – so thankful we can read and learn about the love of Jesus and His
sacrifice. I am so sad for those who
chose not to believe in the love of God.
They do not know the joy, peace, and comfort Christians have through
Him.
Life is not easy by any
means. Sometimes it is made even more
difficult because we choose to claim Christ as our Savior – to walk in The
Way. We are tempted, tried, teased, and
troubled because we do. Sometimes we are
punished, persecuted, and humiliated because we cherish our God. In the United States it is not as bad as in many
other countries; still, we suffer hardships for Jesus.
Even so – EVEN SO – we know
what comes next. A Christian life is
always the best life to live. We know it
is worth it because after this life, heaven awaits the faithful Christian! The joy we have in Jesus and the peace and comfort
we have in God always sustains us – always anchors us in our hope – our confident
steadfast hope of incredible eternal joy!
God
loves us – Jesus died for us – and the Holy Spirit intercedes for us!
This
is the best news! Hang on to it – don’t
let it go; but share it! Share the best
news on earth!
